COURSE OBJECTIVE

Sound quality concepts, tools and techniques shall be applied right from the concept & design stage to bring out quality products. Structured methodologies shall be used to design and develop new products and processes. This would result in providing a quality product to the customer on time at the lowest cost.

Six Sigma is one of the well structured process improvement methodology, applying various statistical tools and project management techniques. It is applicable for all processes, design, manufacturing, service, transactional etc., wherever we have input transformation into output. Breakthrough improvements can be achieved through Six Sigma projects. Sustainable process improvements are achieved by following the above methodology.

In this Yellow belt course, basic concepts of Six Sigma methodology are explained with simple examples and case studies. At the end of the workshop the participant will have basic understanding of six sigma concepts and tools and would be able to provide valuable assistance to Green Belt and Black Belt projects in their profession.

Also in this work shop, overview of structured product quality design concepts are explained with examples which would help the participants understand the new product development methodology.
